THIS KREWE NO LONGER PARADES!
The Knights of Jason began life as Kenner's only parading organization.
THIS KREWE HAS NOT MARCHED IN TWO YEARS, AND WILL NOT
BE MARCHING IN 2009!

The heroic figure of Greek myths, Jason was denied his father's thone and tricked into setting off on a journey to capture the Golden Fleece before he can reclaim his birthright.  In 2004 the Knights of Jason returned from the seas of dormancy to parade again in Jefferson Parish, led by the daughter of their original Captain.
Concentrating on their reformation as a family krewe, the Knights of Jason allows membership at age 10.  This makes their age requirement the youngest for a parading krewe in Jefferson Parish, and second only to the Krewe of Little Rascals as the youngest in all of Carnival.
