for cups, bags of peanuts, Hydra dolls, squeeze toys, lighted beads,
and silver, red, green, and gold adonized doubloons, as well as
medallion beads special to each float.

Caesar
is the largest Carnival organization in Jefferson Parish history, and
its floats, 'royal barges', and elaborate lit headpieces and costumes
reflect its success.

A
grand and opulent parade that is always the highlight of the Jefferson
parading season, Caesar takes the name of an actual historical figure
rather than a myth. Formed by the leading businessmen and
professionals of Jefferson Parish, Caesar is also the parish's
first superkrewe. Aside from its traditionally-opulent parades
and costumes, the krewe has also worked extensively with the Disney
Corporation, presenting parades in the parks as well as bringing the
Disney characters to Mardi Gras.
